Mark your calendars!!!

Montessori Tap recital will be Thursday, May 20th at 7:00pm- Root Elementary

Call time for tappers is 6:30pm.
NO parents, grandparents, or siblings will be allowed in at this time. I need the tappers FULL attention. Family is welcome to wait outside or in car but no one except tappers can come into the building. I will only have 30 minutes to familiarize tappers with their stage and I need FULL attention.

The show will be short and sweet. Approx. 15-20min once we start.

Admission will be $3 and children 5 and under are Free!

Don't forget to bring tap shoes home by May 20th. If you want to bring them home early tappers will be ok to have one tap class with out their shoes.

Attention Tap Parents: If your tapper out grows their current pair of tap shoes please make sure the next pair you buy has a buckle strap instead of tie. This will save lots of class time having to retie shoes. You can order them at the studio.

I am going to be ordering costumes soon for our spring show in May. Please turn in costume payment to front desk in your designated envelope at your earliest convenience.

For the recital, female tappers will need tan opaque tights. You can purchase tights at Dance and More store on Main Drive in Johnson. (very close to our studio) If you would like to purchase them through Elite Dance Studios please add $10 to your total and you will receive them with your costumes.

Remember the spring show will be in late May/early June.

This year Montessori Tappers will be having a show of their own instead of with Elite Dance Studios. I think it will be a little more intimate and much shorter. Start to finish no longer than 30 minutes. It will also give me a chance to meet some of the parents of my tappers :) I will give further details at a later date when everything is set in stone!
